The Lifestory of David Platt

David's Tribute Fund

Welcome to our Tribute Fund. We have created this page in memory of our father and to help raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association.

David, our Dad, died in 1996 after suffering from the condition for only a short time. We strongly believe that the MND Association need all the help they can get to conduct further research into finding a treatment, and ultimately a cure, for a disease which is devestating to both the suffers and their loved ones alike.

We would therefore be incredibly grateful if you would consider making an online donation or if you prefer you can help us raise money for this Tribute Fund by creating an online sponsorship page to mark a special event or occasion.

All money raised on these pages will be earmarked as being donations made via this Tribute Fund when they reach Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Simply choose one of the links above to see what you can do.

If you like, you can also sign the guest book and tell other people about our page and the MND Association.

Kind Regards,

Neil and Matthew Platt

My Brother

David was always there for me even when I was little he never mined his little sister tagging along with him and his friends. He taught me to ride my first two wheeler bike around the crescent where we lived. Got very clever with him jogging along, little did I know that he had let go of the seat and when I came to a bend I didn't go round it I just carried straight on up the kerb across the footpath and straight over our neighbours hedge into their garden. David being David laughed his socks off then came to see if I was ok. Brothers are really great and I miss him so much.
